Agencies should develop an internal vacancy review process to ensure all vacancies are set up appropriately prior to releasing the Job Opportunity Announcement (JOA) to USAJOBS.
For the first five (5) vacancies your agency announces using a USA Hire Core Assessment, work with your agency USA Hire POC who will coordinate the vacancy review with OPM. For the Executive Assessment (EA), OPM will review the first three (3) vacancies, if applicable.
- Your agency USA Hire POC must complete and submit the attached Vacancy Review Request Form when requesting the OPM vacancy review.
- The OPM review team typically provides feedback within 48 hours of a JOA submission.
For vacancies beyond the first five, follow your agency’s internal review process before releasing the vacancy’s JOA to USAJOBS.
