The following steps must be taken before cancelling a USA Hire vacancy.
• If, as of the date of the cancellation, the USA Hire Assessment window has already passed, then the vacancy can be cancelled without taking any further action regarding USA Hire.
• If, as of the date of the vacancy cancellation the USA Hire Assessment window is still active and applicants who previously applied are still completing assessments, then:
1. Navigate to the Assessment Package – Settings.
2. Permissioned users may select the Edit Window button.
3. Edit the End Date to the cancellation date plus 2 days (minimum amount of time which needs to be provided). This will update all eligible applicant’s assessment windows to be the new date.
4. Send a custom notification notifying applicants that the vacancy has been cancelled and they are no longer required to complete online assessments.
NOTE: This step to shorten the assessment period cannot occur if the vacancy has already been cancelled. If the vacancy has already been cancelled, then applicants will have been given their testing window and will be able to complete assessments until this window passes. However, we recommend sending applicants a custom notification that the vacancy has been cancelled and they are no longer required to complete online assessments.
